Camp Laguna - Bang Tao Beach

Located next to Laguna Beach Resort on seven acres of lushness, Camp Laguna offers half or full-day programs in January, April, August, October and December. There's a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities for kids aged eight to 18, providing opportunities for kids to make new friends, challenge themselves and make their visit to Phuket something quite special. Although the camp serves the five hotels in the Laguna complex, if you and your kids are staying at another hotel they are welcome to join. It's open to all.

Camp Laguna Activities include rock climbing and abseiling on a 15-metre, three-sided tower, two high ropes courses, leisure sports, like Ultimate Frisbee and Capture the Flag, arts and crafts, including papermaking and batik prints as well as environmental activities such as orienteering. Transport from your hotel, equipment and drinks are included in the cost. You will need to register at the hotel tour desk on arrival.

The Laguna Phuket Golf Club Course was designed by world-renowned Max Wexler to challenge golfers of all abilities. The course features lagoons, coconut groves and generous, undulating fairways and the extensive facilities include an 18-hole golf course, driving range, putting greens, practice bunkers and chipping areas.

Thai Cooking Classes

Dusit Laguna Phuket offers Thai cookery classes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon from 15:00 to 17:00. Students will learn from a master of Royal Thai Cuisine as they teach different four-course menus. ‘Graduates’ receive a Dusit Laguna apron as well as class folders which include instructions and illustrated recipes. 

Wall Climbing in Phuket

Visitors who are looking for something out of the ordinary should check out Quest inside Laguna Complex. The activity centre offers recreational programs for holiday guests including a 15-metre climbing tower plus high rope and low rope challenge courses.

Yoga in Phuket has quite a few options and can enrich your vacation.Contact Shiv Yoga & Ayurveda Center for private yoga sessions or for the family yoga classes in which you will learn dynamic breathing techniques and postures. Shiv Yoga & Ayurveda Center is a well-known yoga centre in Phuket based in the Boat Lagoon Marina. They recently opened a branch in the Bangtao Beach area. Alternatively if you are staying at one of the Laguna resorts, look for their in-house training. Most of them have training available all year round.
