 The
sun-filled library has a wide selection of books, ranging
from novels to travel guides and coffee-table books on Southeast
Asia. A large selection of magazines, international newspapers,
board games, CDs and DVDs as well as a desktop computer for
internet access are also available.

| Swimming Pool |
|
 Amanpuri's
27-metre freshwater swimming pool is finished in midnight-blue
tiling. Complimentary Thai tea is served late in the afternoons
daily and traditional Thai music is performed most evenings
at the pool pavilion. A 20-metre midnight-blue tiled lap pool
is also available at the Beach Club.

| Beach |

 A
crescent-shaped white-sand beach is located at the foot of
a cascading sweep of stone steps leading from the resort's
main pool, restaurants and bar. The beach is lined with sundeck
chairs and umbrellas. Amanpuri's friendly beach boys are available
to offer light refreshments as well as cool cocktails and
drinks, cold towels and ice. They will also ensure your feet
are kept cool by watering pathways in the sand on the beach.
Complimentary windsurfing, snorkelling, sea kayaking, body
boarding, Hobie cat and Laser sailing are available on the
beach. The beach boys are qualified to offer instruction as
needed. A nearby reef is flush with fish. We offer complimentary
fins, snorkels and masks at the beach. The best snorkelling
is above the coral reef, between the swimming platform and
the headland in front of the villas. Snorkellers can swim
among the fish or hand-feed them. At 08:30 every day, guides
take the guests for a snorkel to the area where a population
of reef fish are eager to be fed. 18 ft. Searay Bowriders
driven by trained crew, are available for water-skiing, for
a nominal fee. All these activities are available between
December and April, weather and tide permitting. |

 Overlooking
Pansea Beach, Amanpuri's recently completed Beach Club features
a 20-metre midnight-blue tiled lap pool and a Thai sala with
cocktail bar and lounge seating.

| Gym |
|
 The
glass-walled gym duplex is perched high on a hillside with
spectacular views of the Andaman Sea. The gym is over 350 sq.m. and
equipment ranges from free weights to a variety of exercise
machines and a Power Plate which vibrates at high speeds,
encouraging muscles to contract in multiple directions. Cardiowork
machines are equipped with satellite TV screens with access
to international news, sports and entertainment channels.The
facility is open 06:00 till 21:00 and experienced gym staff
members are available for assistance. A juice bar on the first
floor provides well-earned smoothies and a diverse array of
blended juices.

| Tennis |
|
 Amanpuri offers six floodlit courts. Playing partners and equipment are available and professional coaching is offered from November to April.

| Cruises |
|
 Amanpuri's
own Amancruises fleet numbers more than 20 cruisers and sailing
craft, the largest of any resort in Southeast Asia. Sailing,
deep-sea fishing, diving and overnight charters, with full
crew, are all available.

Gallery and Boutique: An exclusive selection of Asian jewellery, antiques, textiles and artifacts is featured, as well as Thai fabrics, a selection of gifts, souvenirs and general sundries.
Boardroom: Meeting facilities include a
boardroom with audio equipment and an LCD projector.
Tailor: A tailor is available and guests may choose from a large selection of fabric. Fittings can be arranged in the privacy of the pavilions.
Internet: Wireless broadband connections are available in all pavilions and public areas.
Buggies: Buggies are available for guests who wish to be driven around the resort at any time. |
