The Grand Thai Wedding is an amazing spectacle of colours, sounds, and rituals, reflecting the rich Thai culture. A holy ceremony that has evolved over hundreds of years, the wedding can be organized at any place you wish but certain surroundings are more appropriate then others. Before the actual ceremony are various options to choose from such as a temple tour, an elephant ride, or an island cruise. The ceremony historically begins with the groom leading a Long-drum Parade with around 30 dancers and musicians across the premises. The groom will perform several traditional rituals before meeting the bride. She will be dressed in traditional Thai dress and wait for him in a secret place. Once the two meet they will receive the monks' blessing.

After the blessing, the two will move to the beautifully decorated 'Altar', where they kneel together, and a holy string is draped from one person's head to the other, forming a circle and connecting the couple. After this ritual all guests will pour holy water over the couple's hands for good luck. After that will be the signing of the wedding certificate.

We can arrange a beach wedding at any beach of your choice, but keep in mind that all the popular beaches are crowded. We try to arrange our ceremonies at quiet beaches to ensure the most romantic atmosphere. The best time to get married is certainly around sunset, when the temperature is more comfortable and the light gets soft.

Western Non Religious Wedding

The bride and groom enter the colourfully decorated aisle through the beautiful flower arch, elegantly dressed, the bride carrying her flower bouquet. Wedding guests flank each side of the aisle, viewing the couple's walk to the altar. At the altar there is a brief, touching ceremony where the celebrant first offers words of welcome to the bride and groom, and guests. After asking the guests if there is anyone present who should think that this marriage should not take place, he then briefly shares a prose of inspiration to the nuptials. The bride and groom then light a small candle each and light the large candle in the centre. This symbolizes their undying and perpetual love for each other. They then commit themselves to each other with the exchange of vows and presentation of rings. The couple turns and leaves the altar, showered by flowers from friends and family. 

After the wedding vows, a toast to the newly weds is usually given with champagne and cake cutting ceremony. Wedding photos follow with much excitemenst around and congratulations to, the bride and groom. The celebrant then asks the newly-weds to sign the Marriage Certificate before signing it himself, closing formalities.
