DAY 2: KHAO SOK - PHANG NGA - KRABI (Shorter Tour) 128 kms.

At Key Point 6 (KM 135) H4090 branches south on a scenic route south to Phang Nga (49 kms ) via Kapong.

H401 scenery

For a short side trip you may choose to visit the Lam Ru Waterfall (10 kms side trip) by taking the road through Amphoe Kapong to Ban Kapong and Ban Lam Ru.

H4090 winds over a pass before dropping into a valley that leads to H4 and Key Point 18 near Phang Nga. Phang Nga town is of limited interest, so take H4 directly to Krabi (Use Drive Day 5 of the Longer Tour to plan the rest of your tour).
