Chalong Bay Activities
What to Do in Chalong Bay
In the minds of many, Chalong Bay is rigidly associated with water sports and all things nautical. True, many people depart from Chalong Pier to visit beautiful Phang Nga Bay or to do some island hopping as well as diving and snorkeling. But in fact the area has lots of interesting land-based things to do, from elephant trekking to golf, not to mention sports like go-karting, wall climbing as well as shooting and paintball.
These latter sports take place inside a single venue called the Phuket Shooting Range. With the development of the range over the years, Chalong has made its name as a leading destination for challenging and exciting games and activities.

Phuket Monkey School
A monkey show is a surefire way to get your kids to squeal with delight. During the 30-minute presentation, the little furry primates perform human tasks like riding a tricycle, exercising, hawking trinkets, playing catch, and swimming. They also show off a useful trick: picking coconuts. Plenty of monkey-on-your-shoulder audience participation and mild scatological humour that kids (and, admit it, adults) love. After the show, feed the performers bananas – of course – and make the most of the final photo ops. Refreshments are available for purchase.
