KAN EANG
SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

T H E   B E S T   I N   P H U K E T

In Phuket, Kan Eang Seafood is a favourite destination for both Thai’s and foreigners in search of the best seafood on the island. Highly recommended by local residents as the place to enjoy the widest variety of delicious seafood. Located under shady trees on the beachfront at Ao Chalong.

HISTORY

30 years ago Kan Eang started life as a humble fish stand serving local fishermen. Due to it’s policy of buying the highest quality seafood and preparing it southern Thai style the stand became an instant hit, and so the restaurant Kan Eang was opened. This restaurant was so successful that, 18 years later, the larger, Kan Eang II was opened. Carrying on the tradition, but adding a little variety, a third venue was opened beside Kan Eang II, Da Nang Restaurant specialising in Vietnamese and North East Thai recipes with a seafood theme.

All three restaurants are located on the beach of Chalong bay, amidst tropical gardens and other natural attractions. All seafood is freshly caught, with lunch and dinner served in an open-air atmosphere at reasonable prices. Specialities include Phuket lobster, king prawns, soft shell crab, oysters and a wide variety of fresh fish cooked as you like. One of Phuket's all time great values is the Hawmok Phuket (a spicy fish mousse) at only 10 baht!
