Federation of British International Secondary Schools in South East Asia

Dulwich International College is a leading international, day and boarding school located on the picturesque island of Phuket.

The school is a member of the Federation of British International Schools of South East Asia (FOBISSEA). Every year FOBISSEA organizes sports competitions hosted by one selected member school. This year Dulwich International College has been chosen to host the first ever Secondary FOBISSEA games.

More than 14 top international schools of the region will be represented and around 800 students have already confirmed their participation. Students aged between 11 and 18 will be accompanied by Physical Education Teachers, Headmasters and parents.

The FOBISSEA Secondary games will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of March 2000, and will include the following competitions:

Athletics
Swimming
Girls and Boys Basketball
Soccer
Netball

This three-day event will bring together in the same location, at the same time, over 1000 athletes who are all students at leading international schools of South East Asia.

Around 3,000 medals and trophies will be distributed and a closing ceremony for 1,200 people will be held in Phuket, Saturday 4 March 2000. This will be an excellent opportunity for socializing and networking.
