Vacations on Phi Phi island
can be as “hippy” as the movie The Beach, or as luxurious
as you wish. Being the hedonists we are, our choice for this article
is at the luxury end, starting with the Phi
Phi Island Village Villa Resort & Spa on Loh Bagao Beach.
The hotel is set in a gorgeous location, fronting onto an isolated
800-meter beach of powdery white sand, and surrounding by coconut
trees and thick green tropical forest. It has a wide variety of
room types, including the large new luxury beach-front suites, built
recently to replace the 14 beach-front studios that looked out onto

Phi Island Village will make your holiday extra-special. The
resort has four dining outlets: the Dolphin restaurant, the Ruan
Thai restaurant, the Coconut pub and the Center bar, serving Thai,
Western and Chinese cuisine.
To complete your holiday while staying there, make a point of spending
time in the Wana Spa, with its saunas, beauty salon, private massage
pavilions, Jacuzzi and steam room.
Best of all, there are no roads leading to the resort. The only
way in and out is by boat, making this the ultimate getaway from
the pressures of modern life.

Staying with our luxury holiday theme, this brand new five-star
resort recently opened its doors right next to Tub
Kaek Beach, Krabi,
and looking out onto the islands dotting southern Phang
Nga Bay.
Designed in northern Thai Lanna style, the hotel has 57 luxury
guest rooms, including 35 Deluxe rooms, eight Honeymoon Deluxe rooms,
eight Royal Deluxe rooms (ideal for families or groups of friends),
