Rixos Premium opens in Khao Lak

Rixos Premium

On December 16, Turkish luxury hospitality group Rixos Hotels opened its 298-room Rixos Premium Khao Lak Hotel, the company’s first in East Asia and its first outside its European base.

The high-end Khao Lak resort follows the company’s other Premium properties to become one of Asia’s few “All Inclusive” hotels, with guests receiving meals and other food, along with beverage options, in the price of the room. Rixos Hotels’ Corporate Communications, Advertisement and PR Manager, Tunc Tuzcu, said the company was drawn to the dynamic Asia market because it leads the world’s tourism industry in growth, with Thailand at its core.

“We aim to drive business from our European properties into our emerging Asian portfolio, as well as entice Asians to stay in our established European hotels,” he said. “By launching the Rixos brand and our Premium product in Khao Lak, we hope to become as popular and successful in Asia as we are in Europe.” The Rixos Premium Khao Lak is on a 300-meter stretch of secluded beach overlooking the Andaman Sea, less than 90 minutes from Phuket International Airport.

The resort has three Executive Suites, 16 Duplex Suites, 20 Junior Suites, 149 Deluxe Rooms and 110 Lagoon and Pool Access Rooms. It also has four restaurants serving international, Thai, Japanese and Mediterranean dishes; evening entertainment; special facilities for children in The Rixy Club; and a spa with 15 private treatment villas.
