With Krabis popularity among tourists growing
fast, 15 new hotels and resorts are currently under
construction.
These include three hotels on Lanta Island: the 78-room
Lanta Cliff Beach Resort and Spa, which is expected
to be completed by the end of 2008; Le Lanta Resort
& Spa with 174 rooms; and the Lanta All Seasons
Beach Resort & Spa, due to open soon with 38 rooms,
with another 80 to be added later.
Just north of Lanta, on Klang Island, the 29-room
Islanda Village Resort just completed the construction
and already opened and by 2010, guests should be booking
into the 164-room Radisson Resort & Spa on nearby
