Responding to growing demand for luxury accommodation for families
and groups of friends, Laguna Phuket has launched the Laguna
Phuket Holiday Residences, a private villa alternative to the
six deluxe hotels in the resort complex.
The Holiday Residences offer a choice of luxury accommodation in
2-bedroom villas, 3-bedroom pool villas or 4-bedroom pool villas.
Situated in an exclusive gated community, they offer guests privacy
and space in a family-style development such as cannot be found
in a conventional hotel setting.
Guests will have access to all the excellent Laguna Phuket services,
including concierge, valet, laundry and airport limousine services.
If the more than 30 bars and restaurants within the Laguna Phuket
complex have been exhausted as dining options, guests can opt for
pizza and pasta home delivery, or take advantage of the grocery
delivery service and prepare their own home-cooked meals.
Guests will have also access to the facilities at the Laguna Holiday
Club Resort, including the free-form swimming pool with water slide
and pool bar, the Kids Club with its games corner, and free
wireless Internet in the hotel lobby.

To welcome the high season 2007, Indigo
Pearl Resort & Spa has engaged singer May Palmer from Seattle
in the USA, who is performing live every evening from 8 to 11 pm
at the resorts open-air Rebar lounge, with its sunset views.
Ms Palmer, a native American, has a powerful yet masterful voice
which she uses to perform jazz, blues and R&B. Her studio album
credits include You Aint Seen Nothin Yet
(R&B, 1994), Setting The Standards (jazz/blues,
1999), and Hymns To Him (traditional gospel, 2002).
With the 2005 release of her most recent album, Mo
May: A Celebration Of The Motown Era, Ms Palmer continued
to showcase her versatility and style by bringing a new and exciting
flavour to classic Motown favorites.
She is backed by Bangkok-based Boom, a three-piece band who mix
jazz, blues, funk and Latin. The trio are Briton Anton Fenech on
sax and flute, Cuban percussionist Antonio Gutierrez, and American
guitarist Rick Stickney.
