The Secret Cliff Karon

The Secret Cliff Resort and Restaurant has one major advantage over its competitors – its seascape views are out of this world. This must be the only spot with a vista that embraces the west coast of Phuket all the way from Relax Bay to Kata Noi, taking in Karon, Kata and the recently constructed hilltop Big Buddha above Kata. Such panorama is priceless and with its hillside location all the resort had to do was to fit into the grand scheme of Mother Nature's set up and has done so very well.

Khai Islands Tour by Speedboat

Koh Khai Nok is a small island tucked away in Phang Nga Bay. It's only 30 minutes or so away from the east coast of Phuket but ask anyone on the island if they've been there and you will probably draw a blank stare. It's rare to see a Thai family spend a day out on a west coast beach if the sun is shining, so where do they go? The answer is to Phuket's shadier east coast beaches, the parks and the waterfalls. This is where to really cool off and socialize, Thai-style. The three best-known waterfalls in Phuket are Bang Pae, Ton Sai and Kathu Waterfall. Cotton bags combat climate change

In February, 5,000 cotton shopping bags were distributed to 30 Patong hotels as part of a drive to reduce the number of plastic bags used in Patong. The project, known as “Be Clean Be Love for Patong Beach”, is organised by the Patong Hotels Association (PHA) and backed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Jungceylon shopping mall and others.
