Where Is 'Into the Sea'?
Into the Sea is located in the sprawling and verdant grounds of Evason Phuket on Viset Road in Rawai at the south-east base of Phuket. Simply follow the grounds down and park outside Into the View breakfast/buffet restaurant then take the steps down further. If you’re not driving, an Evason trolley bus will take you.
The white walls of this open-sided restaurant feature a Mediterranean stucco effect while outside on the terrace intimacy is assured with candles and well-spaced tables but the best part about the décor at Into the Sea is the range of views out over to the east.
Watching a full moon rise over nearby Lone Island is a near magical experience.
With sea breezes hissing through adjacent tree tops, flickering candles, the constant crash of waves on granite rocks below as well as extremely discreet service, Into the Sea has all the correct requirements for a classic night out.

Food at 'Into the Sea'
Into the Sea is definitely one of Phuket’s upper-echelon fine-dining restaurants and its chefs are past masters at combining textures, aromas, spices and – interestingly enough – food temperatures.
Portions are relatively small (typically three to four mouthfuls) in order that diners savour to the max then move on to the next dish. Whenever possible, homegrown produce (grown on the resort’s grounds) is used and the whole experience is unique.
A ‘Three on Line’ starter includes wafer-thin tuna carpaccio with mango salsa and a host of immediate and counterpointing textures and tastes while diver scallops are served with a pineapple relish salad, yellow curry and watermelon foam.
Heartier but no less tasty fare comes in the shape of poached red label Scottish salmon, spinach compote and egg ravioli with parmesan. Beef tenderloin with teriyaki sauce, garden textures, and oxtail cappellitti in hazelnut is a sensational dish.
