The resort is well-known for its inventive teambuilding
activities created by its 'Re-Creation' department
and at present is a leader in Phuket in this area,
handling up to 140 people in its physically active
and challenging courses.
The Marriott Activity Zone Experience (MAZE) is another
preset activity, practised throughout the world and

80 activities featuring cultural, holistic and sports
pursuits.
Last but certainly not least in the wide selection
of sports and recreation choices at JW Marriott is
a commendable Kids Club with a whole rafter of children's
activities daily, from aerobics to Frisbee flying
and even participating in circus training with a group
of Californian circus artists who specialise in teaching
trapeze flying. There is also a teen's room that is
purposely unsupervised so that 13-18 year olds can
get to know each other and blend. Supervised activities
