1Massive pool with its own beach
The resort-spanning 323-metre swimming pool is actually three large freeform pools connected by channels, mirroring the lagoons the hotel is situated amongst. The separation created by sheer distance means that you can have total relaxation at one end while others are playing water polo in the nets provided at the other. There is also a beach, with a gentle sandy slope into the pool.2Free shuttle boat connects all Laguna Resorts
Angsana Laguna Phuket is centrally-located amongst several lagoons and several other resorts and facilities. Reaching the restaurants, lounges or spas of the other resorts or getting to the Laguna Phuket Golf Club would ordinarily require a convoluted road journey. However, with a free, regular, scheduled boat service between the points of interest, you can enjoy the journey just as much as the destination.3Party in style at XANA Beach Club
Run by the famous Singapore club Attica and featuring its own 35-metre pool, XANA Beach Club offers all-day entertainment. A great place to lounge through the day with great food, cocktails, shaded cabanas, sunbeds and the beach just a few steps away, the club comes alive in the evenings with big-name DJs, live music and special events.4Hassle-free beach sunbeds available
Following the Phuket Beach Clean-Up 2014, sunbeds and umbrellas have been virtually impossible to find on any of the island’s beautiful beaches. Attempting to lay on the scorching sand in the full glare of the sun is an uncomfortable alternative which many have been forced to endure. The stretch of Bang Tao Beach in front of Angsana Laguna Phuket, however, has beds and brollies ready for use, without the risk of intervention by the military authorities.5An award-winning signature spa
With countless accolades dating back several years, the Angsana Spa brand is renowned for its range of signature treatments and products. Relax and revitalise in luxurious surroundings with sauna sessions, fusion baths and various styles of full body massage, or a range of Ayurveda treatments including Podikizhi, Shirodhara and Greeva Vasti.6Kids-only dining at the Treehouse Café
The Treehouse Kids Club is a multi-storey adult-free space (with the exception of supervising staff) with plenty of fun and games to ensure that the little ones are entertained and enriched, but the fun doesn’t have to stop at mealtimes. The club’s dedicated café is designed specially and exclusively for children, with low furniture and a menu of delicious and healthy treats.7A truly international breakfast buffet
Many five-star resorts boast an international breakfast buffet, but the offerings at Angsana Laguna Phuket are truly world-spanning. At various stations, you can get the usual western fare of sausages, crispy bacon, eggs (any style, including omelettes), cereal, pancakes, waffles, bread, pastries and fruit. What is much less common at breakfast buffets is Chinese and Indian food, including a breakfast curry.8Water sports on the lagoons
Alongside the usual beach-side hotel activities you can try at Angsana Laguna Phuket (including snorkelling, diving, yoga or making use of the state-of-the-art fitness centre), there are some which take advantage of the beautiful lagoon the hotel is situated on. These include canoeing and sailing and other sedate water sports. All are free to try and equipment is provided.9On-site art gallery and shop
What at first appears to be a gallery of fine artworks and beautiful Thai artefacts quickly reveals itself as a shop. Many of the eye-catching items in the window of Angsana Gallery are actually for sale, making the most unique souvenirs. The gallery also sells an impressive collection of signature scents, fashion and spa products.10Fairytale wedding options
Your wedding day is likely to be one you will easily remember, but getting married at Angsana Laguna Phuket is an experience which will be impossible to forget! The choice of venues includes the pristine white sandy beach or the gorgeous traditionally-styled chapel by the lagoon. Add an elephant to the ceremony to symbolise your commitment and the longevity of your union and enjoy the reception at the beach club.
