Please note: Kabuki's Japanese Brunch is currently unavailable.
Kabuki’s Japanese Brunch at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa is the first ever Sunday brunch in Phuket dedicated to the culinary delights from the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’. Kabuki Japanese Cuisine Theatre is JW Marriott’s signature Japanese restaurant located right behind the main swimming pool and the lotus pond on the ground floor of this opulent resort which hosts no less than 13 restaurants and bars.
From sushi and sashimi to teppanyaki and more, all Japanese favourites are available in the sumptuous buffet prepared for this weekly event. The quality of the food is second to none, meaning Kabuki has to be up there with the very best places to sample genuine Japanese delicacies in Phuket. In addition to the excellent food, guests can enjoy the excellent and rare (in Phuket) range of Sake, including Tedorigawa Yamahai Honjozo, Masumi Karakushi Gold, and Dassai Junmai Daiginjo, complementing all that raw fish, rice and other Japanese delights perfectly.Read More

JW Marriott Phuket’s Japanese Brunch is set in the arcade hosting Siam Deli and the Marriott boutique. Two options are available for guests to choose from: al fresco brunching (in this case it is more ‘al warmo’) under the arcade ventilated by powerful fans, or inside the restaurant’s air-conditioned room.
Upon reservation, guests are welcomed at the main lobby by a charming host or hostess who will show them the way to Kabuki restaurant which sits one floor below. The service is excellent and assured by a competent and English-speaking team of professionals. Brunch is open from 11:00 – 16:00, and guests can also enjoy the resort facilities during or after their meal (the main swimming pool and its adjacent kid's pool are just a few metres away). Stylish and contemporarily designed, Kabuki Japanese Cuisine Theatre presents a comfortable and cosy place to tuck into to a daytime feast.
If you love your Japanese food, JW Marriott’s Sunday Brunch is a great place to treat yourself: for 1,900 baht net per person inclusive of free flow soft drinks (50% for children under 12 years old; free for children below six years old; extra 600 baht for free flow of alcoholic beverages) guests can feast on the Japanese food buffet displayed on half a dozen stations according to the type of dishes.
Delectable sushi (maki, nare, kabuki dragon roll, and more) and sashimi (tuna, red snapper, and salmon) occupy the central position of the buffet with the salad bar (try out the tuna/avocado salad); seafood, meat and yaki soba are prepared in front of you ‘à la plancha’ (griddle). This is when Japanese Cuisine Theatre is at its best, as the cooks enjoy a bit of show-off by setting high flames up while they prepare guests’ order; tempura, yakimono (beef, chicken, and duck), and kushi katsu stations complete the buffet on its salted side. Japanese style desserts are also available with the original Moshi ice creams (ice-cream inside sticky-rice cake).
Summing up, this original Sunday brunch is a great way to spend good time on the superbly landscaped ground of JW Marriott Phuket while enjoying some of the best Japanese cuisine available in Phuket.
