    Beach Club in Patong

Paradise Beach Club Phuket is a large, well-developed party spot located on Paradise Beach in an isolated bay a short distance from Patong Beach. Featuring shops, restaurants, activities and fantastic Koh Phangan-style beach parties, it has an air of exclusivity without being prohibitively expensive.

The majority of the Paradise Beach Club complex is on a pristine 150-metre white-sand beach, with sun chairs and a volleyball court right on the sand, along with trees providing some shade while the hilly flanks of the secluded bay provide a sense of isolation and exclusivity. The back of the beach is lined with three chic and trendy restaurants – one each serving Italian, Chinese and Thai cuisine. Prices are generally around the same as you would pay in Patong, such as large tasty pizzas for 250 baht.

You will also find the activities station on this main beach, with stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, snorkelling equipment and lifejackets available. Unlike Patong Beach itself, you will not find the sand cluttered with speedboats, parasailing and jet skis. Use of the activities equipment is included in the entry cost and requires no additional payments.

  • The entry price for Paradise Beach Club Phuket is noew FREE. This will give you access from the 09:30 opening time until 19:30 (just after sunset) or from sunset until the partying stops some time the next morning. You will also have access to all of the sports equipment except for the SUPs. A 1,000 baht entry ticket will get you the same amount of time on the beach, but includes use of the SUPs. Finally, a 1,500 baht ticket will give you access to the beach all day and night and full equipment access.

Phuket’s Paradise Beach Club uses a modern electronic tag system fastened to your wrist so that you can enter and leave the complex without having to pay again and without worrying about losing or destroying a ticket or accidentally washing off a stamp. You also get a free welcome drink from the lighthouse bar upon entering.

In the area of the lighthouse bar (and the giant radio), you will find a currency exchange with ATMs, a pharmacy and the lost-and-found office, as well as a selection of coffee and snack shops. Under the shade of the tree here, you will also find a Walking Street-style market on special nights. Just around the corner, you will find a shop-lined alley with outlets selling high-end jewellery, artworks, swimwear, fashion and more dining options.

There is a second smaller beach with its own private bar, which can be used as an exclusive VIP party venue if arranged in advance. This beach can be reached along the seafront footpath next to the activities hut or by following the aforementioned shop-lined alley, past the hilltop high-end restaurant and the sunset viewpoint.

Paradise Beach Phuket is practically unique among the beach clubs on the island in the way that it celebrates the phases of the moon. It recreates the famous Full-Moon parties of Koh Phangan, along with half-moon and “black-moon” parties. While the club has a nightly fireworks display starting at around 19:00, the special moon parties have at least two displays and sometimes more. These special party nights will sometimes feature a slightly higher entry price, but are worth it for the great drinks, beach barbecue, fire shows and a safe and fun atmosphere.

The Paradise Beach complex is found by following the beach road south from Patong Beach, passing the Amari Phuket and Tri Tra Beach. There is a shuttle bus service available from Jungceylon Shopping Centre, Patong Bay Garden Resort and other stops around Patong. For those using their own transport, it is worth noting that the road is very hilly and includes a couple of particularly steep gradients.
