| It is renowned for its amazing limestone "sea mountains" that rise from the
ocean as vertical walls, and its scores of fascinatingly and yet naturally, sculptured
islands, with some peaks reaching 300m. Few islands are inhabited and the bay is largely
untouched by the human hand. Hidden in these islands are numerous caves, tunnels and
lagoons, better known as "hongs" (Thai for room), collapsed caverns eroded by
natural forces over millions of years that can only be entered via the tunnels when the
tide is just right.

We aim to share the secrets of Phang Nga Bay's hidden "rooms" with you, incorporating a "gentle" approach and appreciation of nature, without damage to the environment. It is of utmost importance to us at Sea Cave Canoe that the delicate and pristine environment you will observe and experience remains undisturbed and uncontaminated. It is our policy to maintain the natural environment as we find it. In the "hongs" we do not allow talking, touching, eating, smoking or removal of shells or "souvenirs". We limit the numbers in our groups to avoid overcrowding and to ensure a "small volume", high quality operation. |

Our new, sturdy and spacious dome tents, fully equipped with blankets and pillows and erected by our staff, offer you a sound nights sleep. Flashlights and all sleeping equipment are supplied.
