The Baray Villa

This small Thai 'village' was established in 1999 through the inspiration of a Thai couple, Tu & Lek who have a strong and passionate belief in Thai arts & culture and a desire that the Thai and Oriental architecture of the village be a sanctuary of senses for all visitors.
Sawasdee Village is a simple Thai name and easy to remember but it is also full of meaning. Sawasdee is a boutique resort featuring exotic Thai art & culture with 40 rooms, all elegantly designed with generous use of wood and Thai artifacts. The Resort is in a tropical setting, embraced by nature and surrounded by ancient Thai sculptures. Sawasdee Village features a 14 Triple Pool Access Villa complex named 'The Baray Villa'. These new villas are the first triple pool access villas in Phuket and feature a strong conceptual design in Arabian–Oriental -Thai characteristics.
In 2004, the Tourism Authority of Thailand selected Sawasdee Village as 'One of the top 50 most beautiful resorts in Thailand'.
In 2005, the Tourism Authority of Thailand named the Baray Spa 'One of the top 50 spas in Paradise.' |
